UN asked to take action against Iran for recent missile test - Washington Post
UNITED NATIONS â The United States, France, Britain and Germany are asking the U.N. Security Council to investigate and take âappropriate actionâ against Iran for conducting a ballistic missile test earlier this month, which they say violated U.N. sanctions.
A report to the council committee monitoring sanctions against Iran from the four countries, which was raised at a council meeting late Wednesday, says the medium-range missile fired by Iran on Oct. 10 âis inherently capable of delivering a nuclear weapon.â
