‘Stray Dog’ screened at Thiebaud
Ronnie âStray Dogâ Hall is the portrait of a biker: A skull cap covers gray hair, and medals, pins and patches cover a black leather vest he wears over a sleeveless T-shirt exposing the tattoos on his arms.
âStray Dogâ a film by Debora Granik, director of the Oscar-nominated âWinterâs Bone,â gives the audience a glimpse into the day-to-day life of Hall, a 69-year-old Vietnam veteran still coping with the effects of post traumatic stress disorder, but who reaches out consistently with humility, kindness and love to family, friends and other veterans and the families they left behind.
