Motor racing-Vettel engine penalty boosts Hamilton's title hopes - Reuters

AUSTIN, Texas Oct 22 Lewis Hamilton's hopes of clinching his third Formula One world title at the U.S. Grand Prix were boosted when Sebastian Vettel, his closest rival, said he would have a 10 place penalty on the starting grid.

"We will have the hit of a 10 places penalty for a new engine at this event but it has always been the plan, it's not a big secret," the Ferrari driver from Germany told reporters at the Circuit of the Americas on Thursday.
