Conway camp views low voter turnout in their favor

GEORGETOWN – It’s common during the last days of an election for candidates to go out on the trail to gin up the enthusiasm of supporters and make sure they go to the polls and pull the right lever on Election Day.

But the 2015 Kentucky governor’s race is not your common governor’s election. Democratic nominee Jack Conway is seldom seen outside of fundraising events or in television ads, giving way to his running mate, state Rep. Sannie Overly of Paris, on public appearances.
