Rematch Wednesday: Hawks host Bulldogs

They’re in unchartered waters now. Central Lee High School’s football players have never known the season to go beyond nine weeks. Not jut the current crop to put on the pads, but none in the school’s history.

The 2015 Hawks — 8-1 after a 51-8 thumping of Highland last Friday at Riverside — will find out what’s it like this Wednesday when it plays 6-3 Mediapolis for a rematch from week No. 4. Central’s the top seed from its district, but the Bulldogs are a mighty strong fourth seed from a tough District 5.
