Six arrested in meth investigation

The Whitfield County and Murray County sheriff’s offices conducted a joint investigation and arrested members of a family believed to be responsible for the distribution of large amounts of meth in the north Georgia area.

Investigators determined the main targets of this distribution ring were Wesley Bramblett and his brother Jerry Bramblett Jr. The first arrest during the investigation came on Sept. 22 when Wesley Bramblett was stopped on the North Bypass by the sheriff’s office and one-fourth of a pound of meth was found inside his vehicle. A female (Courtney Wilson) in the vehicle with Wesley Bramblett was also determined to be involved in the distribution of the meth. Both were arrested and taken into custody.
