Enjoy this natural wonderland: Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary, Senegal (PHOTOS)

The Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary lies on the southeast bank of the Senegal River in Senegal, in northern Biffeche, north east of St-Louis. A comprehensive visit to Djoudj will take longer than one day, but a day trip still provides a satisfying wildlife experience. It's wise to hire a guide to help you get from St. Louis (or other points) to the park entrance, and many lodgings will help you get connected. Some accomodations offer a packaged bus tour.
