Nostradamus 2020 Prophecy: Three Plague Predictions Refers to Coronavirus?

Even if the news is not something you like to read, you will most definitely know about the coronavirus. It is a disease that has infected over a hundred thousand people while it killed more than four thousand ever since its first confirmed case last December in China.

There were no warnings at all when it suddenly appeared, and the virus has not been seen ever before in a human. The origin of the coronavirus has been speculated by many conspiracy theorists on various social media platforms as they share wild claims about where it came from in the first place. Many conspiracy theorists have claimed that there is a Nostradamus 2020 prophecy that was predicted long ago by the famous writer and apothecary, Michel de Nostredame.

There are three prophecies by Nostradamus that describe destruction and plague consuming the world. He had visions of what happened in the far future that he wrote down as quatrains, which are poems containing four lines. His book Les Propheties that was published in the sixteenth century, contains a few of the prophecies.

The first Nostradamus 2020 prophecy is found in Quatrain 19 of Century II. In this first quatrain, he states that there are places built by newcomers that lack defenses, as well as areas that are being occupied becoming uninhabitable. He also mentions towns, houses, fields, and meadows being free to take as you please. That is most likely due to the war, famine, and plague he also describes.

The second Nostradamus 2020 prophecy is found in Quatrain 6 of Century II. In this second quatrain, he mentions two never before seen scourges that will happen around two cities. He says that a plague will lead to famine, and people will be killed by steel while they cry to God for relief.

The third Nostradamus 2020 prophecy is found in Quatrain 63 of Century V. In this third quatrain, he wrote that there would be boats that get thrown around with the Latins, while they're cold and hungry. He also mentions plagues that will appear and infect all of humanity.

Conspiracy theorists think that the third quatrain refers to Italy. The river Tiber is found in Rome, and Italy is currently placed under lockdown. Italy has almost ten thousand confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Many people debate about what reason Nostradamus would have to want a world pandemic to devastate the whole world. The mysterious writings of Nostradamus can mean different things to different people. Ever since he died in 1566, there have been numerous pandemics that scoured the world.

The famous author of the podcast, which is known as Skeptoid, Brian Dunning, has said that you would need to have astonishing hindsight to be able to connect the writings of Nostradamus to what's happening today in our modern society. He thinks that the cryptic poems of Nostradamus are often fallaciously exploited. Some people translate his writings in ambiguous ways, interpret them wrong, and pull fake secret codes out of his poems.

There is no indication that this coronavirus epidemic is going to bring the world to a state of destruction. The World Health Organization, also known as WHO, has released a statement saying that the majority of people that fall ill from coronavirus will only experience mild symptoms.
