Five celebrities who like to dabble on the blackjack tables
Originating from the French Casinos in the early 1700s, Blackjack has come with many aliases throughout the years. Just as popular then that it is now, blackjack (also known as 21) is the most famous card game in the casino. This game can be played both in the virtual realm and in physical casinos, making it the most accessible way to reach lady luck at the table - and it is not only regular folks who are trying to beat the dealer, but also celebrities too.
From playing a part in casino movies, to beating the dealers in reality, we have found five celebrities who are partial to a little bit of betting. Whether it is movie stars we all know and love, reality TV stars we used to watch, or an heiress renowned for her father; let us dive into the world of the casino, and which stars are on the hunt for their lucky 21.
1) Dan Bilzerian
It would be wrong to not give the top spot to the one and only Dan Bilzerian. Rising to fame through his lavish lifestyle and multiple models on each arm - his Instagram has become something to envy the masses. The Armenian-American is notoriously known as a 'high roller' when it comes to the world of poker and casinos, and his wealth is growing year-on-year. Spotted to be playing with the likes of Mark Wahlberg and other powerful figures at the tables, it's a no brainer whether Dan is one to play blackjack games online - because he dabbles in it all. Though he was given a hefty trust fund from his parents, he had actually become a big-time poker player prior to his gift, which has only pushed his stakes higher, and wins bigger. With his success for winning starting back to his college days, he is certainly one you do not want to be at the table with when you are chasing lady luck - go Dan!
2) Paris Hilton
The star of the hit tv show, 'Simple Life' with long-time friend, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton has come from a dynasty of fame. Just in 2014 the hotel heiress, who is worth a cool one hundred million won $50,000 on the blackjack table.
Right after finishing her DJ gig at Atlantic City, she felt lady luck on her side and took to the tables. This was nothing new, seeing that she began her stakes at just nineteen and grew her love for gambling from that tender age.
3) Ben Affleck
From Hollywood to the tables, Ben Affleck knows a thing or two about winning at blackjack. The actor and director are a big-time spender in the casinos and is actually banned from a number of them due to card counting at the Hard Rock Casino. Known for huge bets, and huge losses, too, Ben plays a hard game when he ventures into the world of gambling. Just in 2001 Ben lost $400,000 on one hand of poker, but three years later he managed to win $356,000 in a tournament. Best friends to fellow movie-star-turned-gambler, Matt Damon, is often pictured accompanying the star on a casino night out.
Damon is spotted to be a lot more of a calmer player than Ben, as he always wins at the table with sensible bets. Regardless of the win or lose, these two stars are certainly some of Hollywood's biggest chasers for the touch of a four-leaf clover.

Always opting for the high-stake tables, Woods has been said to have been spotted betting $250,000 per hand and making some big moves on the table.

The former basketball star is no stranger to the world of blackjack, and in fact his early retirement was often rumored to be down to this. With a net worth of over one billion dollars, the sports star can certainly afford his favorite pastime.
Noted down to have lost $5 million in a game of craps, betting big at the casino and even placing friendlies on the golf course, Michael Jordan is one of the bigger spenders when it comes to venturing into the betting realm.
