Groupon to Lay Off 1100 Employees - PC Magazine

Daily deals provider Groupon has decided to cut jobs and leave several countries, the company announced on Tuesday.

Groupon will lay off 1,110 employees, primarily in customer service and its "international Deal Factory" divisions. The cuts repesent over 10 percent of the company's more than 10,000 employees. In addition, Groupon will exit Morocco, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, and several other countries, which comes after it recently took its service offline in Greece and Turkey.
