Jacksonville City Council considers school funding cut
Jacksonville City Council members are split on a 2016 fiscal year budget that would cut roughly $100,000 in funding to the local school system.
The cut was included in the $12.9 million proposed budget the council reviewed during a work session last week. The council decided then that it would vote Monday on whether to keep the cut in the budget.
