Why Bentley’s divorce file should be public (opinion)

The divorce proceedings between Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley and first lady Dianne Bentley are sealed off from the public, deleted from the state court records database as if it never happened.

That’s not right. Further, it puts into the shadows a matter of importance to Alabama residents.
