Jacksonville will join other cities in tax free weekend

Cesar Gonzalez, assistant manager of Hibbett Sports in Jacksonville, said his store has more business during Alabama’s annual tax free weekend than on Black Friday.

“It’s the best weekend of the year,” said Gonzalez. “I think it’s a good thing because it helps parents who are trying to buy things for their kids to get them started back to school. I’m glad we’re able to help.”
