Cheryl Norred remembers her years at JSU

Cheryl Norred and her husband, Truman, were high school sweethearts at Handley in Roanoke. They married after she graduated from business college in 1962.

Cheryl has held several jobs during their 53 year marriage. In earlier years, she worked to help support them while Truman attended school. She was bookkeeper at a bank in Lafayette, secretary for an architect in Birmingham and, years later, worked in customer service at Anniston National Bank.
