FHS principal proposes stadium plan; Board delays request to consider

With football season now underway — and Dafford Smith Stadium still empty — the principal at Fairview High School has proposed an ambitious fundraising plan that could hopefully lead to a full replacement of the football facility, which was condemned in 2014 due to structurally unsound bleachers.

The Aggies have been using nearby Cullman High School as a home base in the interim, though the community is anxious to return home.
