Percentage of Millennials Living Independently Drops
Despite an improving economy, the percentage of young adults, or millennials, living independently in the United States has not rebounded to prerecession levels, according to a recent study.
âIn fact, the nationâs 18- to 34-year-olds are less likely to be living independently of their families and establishing their own households today than they were in the depths of the Great Recession,â said the report from the Pew Research Center, which analyzed U.S. Census Bureau data.
