Klober selected for Arkansas Library Leadership Institute

Danville S.C. Tucker Elementary’s library media specialist, Kelly Klober, has been selected as a member of the first Arkansas Library Leadership Institute. Only 36 participants were selected throughout the state. Selection was a competitive process involving a written application, submission of a resume, three letters of recommendation and a signed letter of support from the director or board.

Maureen Sullivan, past president of the American Library Association, will lead the training. Topics to be covered during the Institute include fostering collaboration and leading groups work, community engagement, leading from any position, power and influence, innovation and risk taking, coaching and developing others and developing a leadership plan.
