She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bob Golden Broomfield; two sons, Bobby Broomfield, II, and Marvin Henslee, both of Crossett; Violet Strange and husband Richard and Loleta Myers and husband Patrick, all of Hamburg; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Broomfield, Dakota Brown, Samantha Strange, Joel Broomfield, Nakita Broomfield, TaLyn Myers, Ashley Strange and Nathaniel Henslee; and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. Mrs. Broomfield was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Lee and Ludie Mae Thornhill Smith; and two brothers, Wilbert and Gary Smith.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, in the chapel of Cromwell Funeral Home with Bros. Charles Perdue and Kenny Bolin officiating. Pallbearers are Lavon Smith, Virgil Smith, Danny Smith, Randy Hill, Kenneth Pack and Darrell Henslee. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery.
