Hi-Desert Chorus get new direction

YUCCA VALLEY— Jeff Lantz will be directing the Hi Desert Chorus when practices resume next month.

Lantz began playing piano at age 8, and has been a musician ever since. His classical training laid the foundation on which he was able to teach himself to improvise and play by ear. While living in Chicago and giving music lessons, he began development of a new music method and plans for creating an online company called Picasso Piano Academy, which he hopes to have up and running by the end of the year.
