UPDATE: Southwest Little League baseball all-stars win Section 8 championship
The Southwest Little League baseball all-stars continued their terrific work in major (11-12) tournament action by winning the Section 8 championship this past week.
Despite being hindered by a rainstorm, Southwest triumphed over Barstow, 5-2, in the title-deciding game on July 19.
