Elizabeth 'Betty' Lickman, SPCA volunteer

Elizabeth “Betty” A. Lickman, 80, of Harbeson, formerly of Wilmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at her home.

Betty was born in Wilmington, Dec. 10, 1934, daughter of the late James H. and Naomi (Foxx) Myers. She had worked as a secretary for Delmarva Power at the Edgemoor Plant in the coal shipment department for 16 years before moving to Sussex County. Once she moved to Sussex County she worked at several places before retiring in 1986 from Henlopen Memorial Park Cemetery in Milton.
