Wildcat region wins in three sports

The past week was one filled with championship trophies for not one, not two, not three, but four of the Wildcats’ spring sport teams. Boys’ golf continued its county dominance with its seventh consecutive county championship. Boys’ tennis remained undefeated en route to the region title and the girls matched the boys’ effort, completing a Dunwoody sweep of the tennis region championships.

Girls’ soccer proved itself to be the force to reckoned with in the region as well, bringing their first regional tournament trophy back to Dunwoody High School. Also notable, the boys’ soccer team upset the number one team in the region in the seventh round of penalty kicks to finish third in the region and claim the three seed for the upcoming state tournament.
