District sues Kuno manufacturer

Keokuk School District Superintendent Tim Hood issued a statement via email in regards to a lawsuit against the makers of tablets that were purchased for students and teachers.

Keokuk, along with three other area districts, are suing the company that sold the districts $1.5 million in tablet computers. The Keokuk district filed a joint lawsuit against CurriculumLoft L.L.C. on Aug. 11, for breach of contract and breach of warranty. Keokuk spent $750,000 for the Kuno tablets, 50 percent of the total amount requested in the lawsuit.
