Stars Offer Eddie Montgomery Support After Son's Death - Taste of Country

Since learning of the tragic death of Eddie Montgomery’s 19-year-old son Hunter, country stars who call him a friend have been taking to social media to offer words of support to the Montgomery Gentry frontman. Reba McEntire, Travis Tritt and more sent the entire Montgomery family prayers in the wake of Hunter’s Sept. 27 passing.

Hunter Montgomery died after he was involved in a non-specified accident late last week. He spent time in life support at a hospital in Kentucky before family let him go. A press release came on Sunday morning (Sept. 27), explaining what had happened and that funeral arrangements were pending.
