Georgia fugitive shot and killed following police pursuit on Turnpike

A wanted fugitive was shot and killed by West Virginia State Police on the West Virginia Turnpike following a police pursuit, police said.

Brandon Lamar Johnson, 28, of Georgia, was fleeing murder charges and crossed into Beckley, according to West Virginia State Police spokesman Lt. Michael Baylous.
