Keyser water customers to see increase in bills

KEYSER, W.Va. — Keyser water customers will see a water rate increase of 12 percent during the next billing cycle. During a council meeting last week, Mayor Randy Amtower read a portion of a new ordinance that will increase water rates in three steps instead of two, according to meeting minutes.

The increases are related to several city water projects. Resale customers in New Creek and McCoole will also see an increase in water rates as well.
