UK Labour leader defends using speech passage written in 1980s - Reuters

LONDON, Sept 30 The new left-wing leader of Britain's opposition Labour Party on Wednesday defended using sections of a speech written in the 1980s that were rejected by five of his predecessors.

Jeremy Corbyn used his first Labour conference speech as leader on Tuesday to accuse the government of favouring the rich, and to promise a new, kinder politics.
