Rezoning of West Main Street discussed

The Russellville Planning Commission tackled a lengthy agenda during its two-plus hour meeting Monday which included seven scheduled public hearings and a dozen items of discussion.

After talking at length about a pair of requests to rezone property on West Main Street from Residential Office (R-O) to C-4 (Neighborhood/Quiet Business), the commission recommended to amend the table of permitted uses so medical and/or surgical clinics would be included in the R-O zoning code.
