Wilburns, Ellis, and the Sobers to sing at Western Concert Friday at Faith Bible Church

A Western Concert for Rex Allen Days will be held Friday evening, Oct. 2, featuring Dave and Ron Wilburn, Texas musician John Ellis and Wendy Breeze and Dusty Shoulders (aka Nancy and Jim Sober).

A true living legend, 94-year-old Dave Wilburn and his son Ron, a former member of the legendary folk era New Christy Minstrels, will be performing. Dave Wilburn is absolutely amazing. He has recorded and performed on stage, radio and television from the early 1930s to the present without interruption. At 94 he drives himself and plays over 200 shows across the nation every year! His vocals and instrumentation on guitar and mandolin are incredible for someone of any age. Ron, like his father, is an enormous vocal and guitar talent and performs from his home base in northern California with his two groups, Horizon and Riverbend.
