Alderman Mays proposes eliminating Pine Bluff Downtown Development

Pine Bluff Alderman Steven Mays wants to get rid of Pine Bluff Downtown Development because of what he says is its failure to perform its duties.

Mays shared this idea as part of a proposed ordinance Wednesday at a meeting of the Pine Bluff City Council Public Works Committee. Aldermen Lloyd Holcomb Jr. and Bill Brumett voted to table the proposed ordinance. But Mays recommended sending it the full city council.
