Nest Weave Wants All the Gadgets in Your House to Communicate - PC Magazine

Nest is about to get a whole lot more developer-friendly.

More than a year after launching its Works With Nest program, the company has announced Weave, a communication protocol that lets devices talk directly to each other and to Nest. Previously only used in Nest Products, the technology will be open to all developers next year.
