Gators face daunting challenge in game against Ole Miss

In this fast and fluid Florida start under new coach Jim McElwain, the Gators are energized, undefeated and ranked again for the first time in almost two years.

They appear on the verge of … well, no one quite knows for sure yet, including McElwain. But he, and we, should know more Saturday night. This matchup with No. 3 Ole Miss is a barometer that should provide a better indication just how much progress has already been made in a short time, and where this team might be headed under Coach Mac.
