Groups call on Congress to reform mental health system - USA TODAY

On the heels of Thursday's shooting at an Oregon community college, 23 mental health groups are calling on congressional leaders to pass legislation aimed at repairing the USA's broken mental health system.

Ten people died in the shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore., the latest in a series of mass killings perpetrated by unstable young men, many of whom were mentally ill.
