AIDB plays host to Special Olympics

Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind played host to the Special Olympics on Friday morning at Kiwanis Field.

The event started with a misting rain, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the participating athletes. Many of them earned the right to participate in the state Special Olympics.
