A 1 percent budget cut to schools across the state won’t have a major impact on students’ education in Raleigh and Summers counties, according to Board of Education officials, but they are looking at ways to do some trimming.
“When we look at budget cuts, we’ll be looking to cut things that do not impact students and teachers in the classroom,” Raleigh County Superintendent David Price said. “We want to protect them at all costs.
