- Halsey is the eighth woman in history to have achieved multiple number ones of the Billboard Hot 100 chart during the 2010s period.
- In the initial days of her career, she called herself as “tri-bi” – for being biracial, bipolar and bisexual, which drew worldwide criticism. She also faced controversy for kissing underage fans.
- She was an avid supporter of Bernie Sanders during the 2016 presidential election, and even urged her fans to vote for him. She further endorsed Sanders during the 2020 elections and even collaborated in a promotional video with the Sanders campaign.
- In the wake of the murder of George Floyd, she joined the protests in Los Angeles for racial justice, alongside the English singer Yungblud in May 2020.
- Ashley Nicolette Frangipane was born on September 29, 1994 to Chris and Nicole, in Edison, New Jersey. Her father is of African-American and Irish ancestry, while her mother is of Italian and Hungarian descent.
- Her father manages a car dealership, while her mother works as an emergency medical technician. Both of them dropped out of college, when her mother discovered that she was pregnant with her.
