Matthew Vaughn, one of the most famous English film directors in the industry, is world renowned for his movies, often based on comic books. - During the filming of 2007 movie “Stardust” he had great difficulty shooting the scenes at the inn where Lamia entices Yvaine, Tristan, and Primus. He had to use a lot of stand-ins in the closer shots, as more than one cast member was available for filming, for very few days.
- In the 2011 movie “X-Men: First Class,” the actors had initially intended to use the character’s trademark accents, but he had specifically instructed all the cast members to do away with all accents.
