1. Kourtney was born on April 18, 1979, in Mill Valley, California.

2. Her full name is Kourtney Mary Kardashian and she is the oldest child of Kris Jenner and the late Robert Kardashian.

3. Her father was of Armenian descent. Her mother has English, and smaller amounts (to varying degrees) of Scottish, Irish, German, French, and Dutch, ancestry.

4. Her last name (Kardashian) means "son of a stonemason" in Armenian.

5. She broke her collarbone after she fell off a swing at the age of 5.
