LANSING, MI -- Former Michigan Reps. Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat are running for their spots in the legislature back, something that at first blush may seem unlikely but political experts say could happen in a crowded primary.

Courser resigned and Gamrat was expelled last week after a House Business Office report and special committee evaluation determined they had misused public resources to cover up an extramarital affair.
