Truman Norred, 73, is convalescing at his home after undergoing hip surgery on Aug. 26. Considering it was the fourth surgery he’s had on his right hip, he’s doing well, he said.
“When my natural hip hurt me so bad, we found out that it was eat up with arthritis,” said Norred. “The doctor replaced it with a titanium hip. But that hip had a bad flaw in it. Part of it was not titanium, and it started poisoning my blood.”
