Kids polish art skills for ‘Lion King’ exhibit

JOSHUA TREE — Children are learning art techniques in a summer class held with summer youth theater program at the Hi-Desert Cultural Center.

This summer the Hi-Desert Arts Academy’s youth theater program will perform “The Lion King Jr.” In conjunction with this production, the academy began offering art instruction with a daily camp called “Africa and the Lion King.”
