Pollinators are decreasing in number according to scientists. To highlight the importance of this issue, the U.S. Forest Service and the Pope County Master Gardeners are hosting “Go Native, Grow Native”, an event free for the public.
The event will be from 5-7 p.m. this evening at the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests office, at 605 W. Main in Russellville. Booths will be set up to talk about various ways the public can increase habitat for pollinators, the critical link between seeds being seeds, and seeds becoming plants that produce.
