Bulldog XC competes at Indianola Invite

INDIANOLA — The Ottumwa Bulldog cross country teams took their talents to Indianola Thursday for the Indianola Invitational, and both had solid days. The Bulldog girls claimed fifth place out of eight teams, while the boys grabbed sixth place in a 13-team field.

The Ankeny Centennial girls claimed the title with a score of 23; Ottumwa posted a score of 146, which was one point ahead of traditional powerhouse Valley. The Indianola boys claimed their own invite title with a score of 48, with Ottumwa clocking in at 186.
