River Forest's Lincoln School named Blue Ribbon winner - Chicago Tribune

As students filed into the Lincoln School auditorium in River Forest on Sept. 29 they had no idea what surprises awaited them.

With current Principal Casey Godfrey onstage leading the event, former Principal Pam Hyde was announced as a special guest, much to the delight of the more than 300 students in attendance.
