58-year-old man charged with kidnapping, assault of boy

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A Wichita man has been charged with abducting a 15-year-old boy and shocking him with jumper cables to get information about a robbery.

The Wichita Eagle (https://bit.ly/1VmHqkP) reports that 58-year-old Robert McDowell was charged Tuesday with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated assault and criminal threat. It wasn't immediately known whether he had an attorney.
